Welcome to Hillels of North Texas
We are Jewish Life on Campus in North Texas
At Hillels of North Texas, we know Jewish life on campus happens everywhere! Whether in student union, at the dorms, in a classroom, or at a coffee shop, Hillel brings together Jewish students for holiday and Shabbat celebrations, Jewish culture, Israel programs and more.

Donate today to ensure vibrant Jewish life on campus in North Texas for years to come
Hillels of North Texas creates an environment where all students are provided the opportunity to develop and deepen their Jewish identity and pride. Knowing that today's Jewish students are tomorrow's Jewish leaders, your support is also an investment in the future of the Jewish community.
Get Involved
Engagement
At our core, Hillels of North Texas is about engaging Jewish students so that they may find a circle of Jewish friends, places to celebrate Jewish holidays, and pride in being Jewish on campus and beyond.
Leadership
Our programs are student led, staff supported, and we have year round opportunities for your student to develop leadership skills that they can take with them in whatever comes after college.
Israel
Students can explore Israel and what it means to be part of the global Jewish people through programs on campus, conference trips, and of course Birthright Israel!
"Hillel is amazing because I learn so much. I like going to Hillel Shabbat events because I get to unwind and catch up with people. I would say the most impactful experience with Hillel has been traveling to Israel for my first time on Birthright Israel. It was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to go back."

What are we doing?

Consistent with the University of North Texas announcement and the University of Texas at Dallas announcement that classes will go online for the rest of the semester, and with our Jewish value of pikuach nefesh (saving lives) in mind, Hillels of North Texas will not hold any in-person programs for the rest of the semester. This includes our now postponed dessert fundraiser.
Hillels of North Texas remains ever committed to supporting students and building Jewish community, even if remotely. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we figure out what is possible and interesting to students. Our student leaders and staff are thinking creatively about how we can connect virtually, and Hillel International is providing resources and programs for all students called Hillel@Home.

Hillel staff are available to meet virtually. Get yourself on Jen's calendar. Set up something on Melissa's calendar. Additionally, if you know of a student who could be helped by Hillel or know a need in the community that can be addressed by Hillel, please be in touch: 972.591.3532 or melissa@hillelntx.org.
